5 days after arriving in Campbell River I am off. I have had a wonderful few days here, taking in the Canada Day parade and fireworks, visiting Quadra Island, Ucluelet and Tofino. I have also had chance to get a hair cut, pick up supplies and get my bike gears tuned thanks to Swicked Cycles (http://www.swickedcycles.com).
Many thanks to Laura and her family. Laura planted the seed for this trip, drove me and my bike out here and is probably more excited than I am at this stage!! Her family have been wonderfully kind, generous and hospitable, feeding me really well and even giving me gift cards for Subway, Tim's and Starbucks, I can't thank them enough.
